are you going for next gen because MKX ?

Hello MK friends.

Im just wondering in witch console people here are going to play Mortal Kombat X.
I just sold mu ps3 one month ago and waiting until april to buy PS4.
Doing it because MKX.
I Dont play other games and PS3 i bought also because mortal kombat 9.
Are u going to upgrade your consoles also because of mk or stayng in old one?

Ive been on the next gen train since launch. Bought a Xbox One on launch night, a PS4 last February (1 year ago), and bought a new PC a year ago.
 
I ain't selling my PS3 cause there are many games that i really like (including MK9) that i still want to play. But i'll probably try to get a white PS4 for MKX!
 
If there was no PC version and the last gen versions got cancelled I would have gone next gen. Would have had to wait a long time though. Couldn't justify spending all that money on just one game.
 
MKX is one of my reasons for going next-gen, but not my only reason.

I'm also big into Metal Gear Solid, and I MUST have Uncharted 4.
Bloodborne also looks awesome.

MK is about the only online multi-player game that I play.
Aside from that, most of my games are offline single-player.
I usually prefer to let my mind unwind after a hectic day with some alone time.

Same. I am generally a single player gamer.
 
I have told myself I would not buy a PS4 until MKX came out. I'll be buying mine the week or so before the game drops.
 
I'm keeping my PS3 and I am getting the PS4 in time for the MKX release. I wanted to wait a bit until going next gen.
 
Got my Xbox One for Dead Rising 3, Sunset Overdrive, and GTAV. As much as I love MK, I don't think I'd upgrade for any fighting game solely.
 
My boyfriend surprised me in getting a Playstation 4 one day out of the blue, so I have no choice to go "next gen." Haha. But I am very disappointed in my brother in going PC because I won't be able to kick his butt online.
 
I love my PS3 and I will keep it FOR SURE.

But I'm already making calls and checking prices.

It's a possibility that I will buy a PS4 for MKX.

Not only for MKX. Imagine how garbage the games they will throw to last gen people.

That guy was more pessimistic than Liu Kang at the end of MK9.
