SPOILER ALERT:Mortal Kombat X DIGITAL COMIC DISCUSSION

Just read Chapter 13. Here's the rundown on the beginning of the second arc, "Blood Gods."

Spoiler:
In the palace of Kotal Kahn in Z'Unkahrah, a weary Erron Black tells Kotal how he only kidnapped Cassie Cage and Jacqui Briggs to aid the emperor, and asks for mercy. Kotal is furious at how Erron's actions have almost started another war between realms, and wonders how they're going to make up for this. Sonya suggests that they start by allowing her team safe passage to Shang Tsung's island, and begins to choke up at the thought of anything happening to Cassie, although she rebuffs Johnny's attempts to comfort her. Kotal has D'Vorah and Reptile take Erron to the dungeon, and begins to tell the Special Forces group how Reiko and Goro slaughtered his people, and he is now the last of the Osh-Tekk. (I guess his mother is now dead as well?) Understanding what it's like to lose family, Kotal promises Sonya and Johnny his fastest ship and some of his warriors. The catch? They all have to survive the coming force that Kotal has heard reports of.

As it turns out, when Kotal had Goro sent back to Kuatan, he thought King Gorbak would reject his son for his dishonourable defeat. But Kotal forgot just how strong a father's love for his son is, for rather than kill Goro, Gorbak wants revenge for what has happened to him. Deciding that the Shokans have lived under imperial rule long enough, Gorbak has sent an army of Shokans on the march to Z'Unkahrah, led by Kintaro and what I think is Sheeva.

In Kahishari, Japan, Takeda is not too happy to hear that Scorpion lost the last time he fought Sub-Zero, although Hanzo argues that they were interrupted and he has Takeda with him this time. Hanzo then notices that it's a bit too quiet, and we see the preview scene with the two coming across a group of Lin Kuei cyborgs, only to find that they are frozen, along with the entire city. Hanzo notes that Kuai Liang wasn't this powerful even while under Quan Chi's control, leading Takeda to worry that he's been possessed. Following the trail of ice, the pair of Shirai Ryu find Sub-Zero waiting for them at a temple entrance. Havik's voice tells Kuai Liang to slay his brother's murderer and his untrustworthy apprentice, and the cryomancer notes how Hanzo no longer has the same fire in his eyes before shattering the entire temple, causing pieces of it to rain down on Hanzo and Takeda.

Hanzo tells Sub-Zero that he won't allow him to kill anymore people, and Sub-Zero simply encourages him to let Scorpion out. Hanzo complies, and as the two get ready to face off, we cut to Shang Tsung's island. While performing a dissection on a body in the Flesh Pits, Havik cackles at the coming rematch: soon both the Kamidogu and Hanzo Hasashi's soul will be his!

Spoiler:
Poor Havik. Scorpion will whoop your ass if you think you will have his soul.

And Subby... I hope he is back to normal and we can finally see this deadly alliance working together.

Spoiler:
Kotal Kahn being the last of the Osh-Teck in the last MK Comic chapter 100% confirms the bios that were released from the German source were true. It A HUGE SHAME, as it means Daegon and Sektor are going to die and we will even know about it before it happens in the comics. What's the point of buying the comics anymore if we know the ending?

I hate that the good guys always win. Daegon is a lot stronger and more cunning than Kenshi and Takeda. He's been evading Earth's gods for 10.000 years. Why would he die now just so that Suchin gets to be avenged?

Same goes for Sektor, he's a cyborg. How can he really die?

They have a chance to make intelligent villains like Havik, Reiko, Daegon and I think they' ll screw it up and give us... you know, Kano and the Black Dragon who nobody thinks can win a war against the good guys.

Thanks, the flesh pits hints at Quan Chi being involved for me so Havik will likely be killed or tricked by him. The Goro and his father part is priceless, daddy fighting 8 year old's battles hahah. Erron Black being a disappoints me, I hope he gets better treatment in the story and is more evil than he seems in the comics. "I only kidnapped them for you master, boohooo"

Not everyone looked up that information so thanks for posting spoilers out in the open. And the spoiler tag in the title pertains to the current comics, not outside sources that shouldn't be released.

I wouldn't like Daegon to be killed off. I see a lot of potential in Daegon, also, killing off Daegon would be the end of the Red Dragon clan. I mean, Hsu Hao and Mavado were already eliminated, we're simply gonna pretend Red Dragon never existed?

I don't get this. Believe it or not, there are fans of Red Dragon out there, yes, even people who liked Hsu Hao.

kittleson pretty much confirmed that Kenshi faces off with daegon in the comic and seeing as red dragon are not in the game at all and kenshi will be don't like the chances. been wondering about them myself.

Those bios obviously were correct. I said it soon as i saw them. But anyways this chapter deconfirms havik or reiko as boss if you ask me.

I have a question. Why is everyone saying chapter 13 deconfirmed Havik as the big bad? Which part of the comic indicates he is not the boss?

But anyways this chapter deconfirms havik or reiko as boss if you ask me.
Based on what, exactly?

I haven't read the latest chapter, but I have read the synopsis posted above. Havik is in the flesh pits in the final chapter. Am I missing something here? He isn't dead.

Only thing that throws me is every time someone is possessed they have the red speech bubble. then havik talks normally it's white.
when he talked at the end it was red again, meaning either he is possessed at that time or confirms he is the one possessing everyone else directly. but doesn't really confirm either way If he's the boss. sounded different to havik normally though with all the SOUL! talk, quan chi maybe.
I still think havik, noob or quan chi. There will be multiple ways for them to be an overpowered characters that through the story become evolved enough to be the boss.
like the cleric havik using reiko as a host for noob, the clones of reiko in the last panel can't quite work. haha. the ritual involves noob turning into a red shadow monster we see in the clip. be something well thought out anyway and won't no until release.

Stop it with the Noob Saibot theories, he's not in the game. Quan Chi is way too quiet + the library stage shown for completing story mode hints towards him. A good guess would be that Quan Chi uses Fujin since you need a god along with the 6 Kamidogu daggers. Fujin is shadowing Quan Chi so this could be the outcome. Another is more simple: Quan Chi finds a way to release Shinnok and uses him or gets killed when Shinnok becomes more powerful and is the final boss.

Oh c'mon guys, those leaks were fake as hell, ed himself deconfirmed them and you keep bringing'em over again and again...
The source was erased but I've got a pic, and it refers to that leak

no. That was from that leak that had like 35 characters. Not the one from the bios with everyone who we know is in. That leak had baraka, rain, fujin, reiko, havik, li mei , cyrax and sektor as playable.

Just read the comic, jesus christ this getting depressing, I mean with Kotal Kahn's Race, and then with King Gorbak crying, I'll admit it is a tad bit powerful in way,

Spoiler:
On the subject of the future of the Red Dragon, even if Daegon dies, the clan could still live on, I mean in the original timeline the Black Dragon were all but wiped out, but then they came back with a new leader in Kabal and new (kinda lame) members
