SPOILER ALERT:Mortal Kombat X DIGITAL COMIC DISCUSSION

Sure.

Spoiler:
It appears Kenshi was indeed spying on the Red Dragon for the Special Forces, trying to learn the location of Daegon. When his cover was blown, he was forced to go into hiding and was eventually able to contact Sonya; she tells him that the Red Dragon had found out he had a son named Takeda, which is also news to Kenshi. He's the product of a fling Kenshi had with a badass woman named Suchin years ago, and the Red Dragon has targeted the both of them. Kenshi heads to their home in Thailand as fast as he can, only to find that Suchin died protecting Takeda. So Kenshi then went on the run with Takeda in tow, which leads us to the beginning of the story as Hsu Hao and his forces are chasing them.

Hsu Hao and his men beat Kenshi to a pulp while another guy who was scarred by Kenshi gets ahold of Takeda, only to be killed by Scorpion. Just as Hsu Hao's about to finish Kenshi, Scorpion also ends him in an awesome scene. It turns out Kenshi had come to the home of the new Shirai Ryu, which Scorpion built from those without anywhere else to go after the "Netherrealm War." It sounds like Kenshi helped Scorpion battle his inner demons at some point in the past, and Scorpion was inspired to help others do the same. Kenshi leaves in the middle of the night while Takeda is sleeping, telling Scorpion that he still needs to find and finish Daegon. Takeda also tries to leave the next morning, but Scorpion stops him and makes it clear that he intends to train him as one of the Shirai Ryu.

At a Red Dragon temple in China, Sub-Zero is launching a solo assault on the base, searching for one of the Kamidogu for "Lord Raiden." After finishing off the last Red Dragons there and entering the chamber where the Kamidogu is supposedly held, he finds it gone. Just then, a laser blast knocks his mask off, and he finds the Kamidogu--a dagger--pushed right up to his face as it begins sending some red stuff into him: Kano got the Kamidogu first!

Thank you!
I'm going to very honest this sounds amazing! The comic seems to be off to a very good start!

Spoiler:
so instead of Shujinko searching for kamidogus from the original timelne, we have Kano and Sub Zero searching for them? Does this mean Kano kills Sub Zero?

Spoiler:
Nah, I really doubt Sub-Zero's dead. Kano talked about the Kamidogu being cursed, and Sub-Zero's eyes started turning red as Kano cut him with it. On another note, this Sub-Zero's look is different from the one we've seen in the game; he looks a lot like MK3 Kuai Liang, and Kano even gives him his familiar scar across his eye.

Somethings to note
Spoiler:
Sonya's name is seen on a the phone screen so she was the one that alerted Kenshi about his son
Takeda has badass mom R.I.P Suchin
Takeda notcies that Scorpion is Wraith even tho he has a human face. Kenshi says Hanzo conquered Scorpion years ago.(I wonder what the backstory is here)
Mavado name drop.
Sub-Zero use to work for Quan-Chi but now works for Raiden

Spoiler:
Ok so im guessing that this Netherrealm War takes place after Mk9 and is where most of the dead warriors come back to life seeing as Kung Lao is in the game. Man i cant wait for this game to come out :D

Wow! I so wana buy this! The art is FANTASTIC.

The story seems bad-ass and I love Kenshi. Red Dragon seems to be the common enemy here. I actually think Daegon has lots of potential, so my fingers are crossed so he doesn't die, I am actually liking he is the one everyone is after now. However, the Red Dragon is not among the five clans of X, so I don't see him survive the comics unfortunately.

About Hsu Hao. Look, I don't care for Boon's opinion about some characters. I actually thought Hsu Hao was fun to play in Deadly Alliance at the time. He was in 2 games and that's good for me. RIP Hsu Hao from someone who's actually not a sheep :p

Absolutely awesome. Can't wait to read it.

Edit:
Spoiler:
I ing knew Scorpion would start finding peace!

Spoiler:

Spoiler:
I don't think Raiden would kill Shujinko, so maybe he sent his men (this time, Sub-Zero), to find it first.

Is it possible to read the comic on my laptop since I don't have any apps on my phone and I don't have a tablet?

I do not regret reading the spoilers without reading the comic. When I saw the previews I thought Kenshi was gonna be forced down our throats, but now I like him

Sounds like
Spoiler:
Kenshi
is in the game, which is great, finally someone else from MK4-MKA

Yeah, it's safe to say that Kenshi is definitely in MKX.

The comic was really good, I was surprised.

Spoiler:
And it looks like Scorpion has been freed of Quan Chi's control and is buddy buddy with Kenshi. Perhaps some of the fallen did get revived in the time span between MK9 and MKX, which would explain Kung Lao AND Scorpions new look.

I think Scorps looks totally cool in his new human form, like a mix between Tom Cruise in The Last Samurai and King Leonidas in 300.

I'm delightfully surprised to see that this story is around Red Dragon clan, which is one of my favorite in all MK series ! I loved to play Hsu Hao and Mavado in previous games, and i can't wait to see them in this comic !

I hope they will be back in MKX too, even if... well, they're not popular AT ALL !
