Scorpion Revealed to be Injustice DLC Character #3

Since the first day <a href="http://www.trmk.org/games/injustice">Injustice: Gods Among Us</a> was announced the NetherRealm Studios team has tried hard to distance the game from Mortal Kombat. Every interview with the team they liked to stress that point and be clear that this is just not another MK game. Then months ago a rumor sprung up that Scorpion was poised to become a DLC character in the game. It made no sense to me, why would they spend all that time distancing themselves from MK just to throw a MK character into the game.

Well I was wrong, it appears that the designers at NetherRealm Studios have included him in <a href="http://www.trmk.org/games/injustice">Injustice: Gods Among Us</a> after all. Best of all, he was redesigned by <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Lee">DC Comic's Jim Lee</a>. He appears to have the same specials as in <a href="http://www.trmk.org/games/mortal_kombat_9">Mortal Kombat (2011)</a> but I'm sure he plays differently.

Scorpion will be available on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network for free for Season Pass holders and for $4.99 for non-Season Pass holders in the near future.

Also <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martian_Manhunter">who is that</a> at the end of the trailer? Hmmmm.

I would be so pissed if I was a DC fan right now.

But I'm not, so it's cool. This might actually make me consider picking this game up. Maybe. When the price comes way down.

He appears to play almost exactly the same as in MK9. eh

So now the 4 DLC characters are revealed. Will there be more?

This is SO disappointing. I just wish they would have kept it all DC. Why do we need to play as an MK character in this game at all?

Im liking that Scorpion is added. I knew he would be added after knowing the leaks. Besides if there was going to be another DC character added it would just be a Batman character or Superman character.
