Mortal Kombat HD Remix with MUGEN

Sure, you can do the Kano statue, but I'd rather you take him on completely. Does Blender handle cloth dynamics? I really like what Arq and Bleed did with the cloth.

The speed was really high because I'm not good with gifs.
If I can adjust the speed, this will solve most problems.
I'll make the corrections that you all pointed Thank you all.
Calactyte, You need the statue Kano?
I can help you, if you give me permission.
I can download the file from Kano made by gojira and puts it in the position of the statue and send to you in the format (.obj) if you wish.
This week I'm free time, it would be simple and quick to solve.

Blender has simulator for clothes and I intend to use in some parts of clothing Sonya too.

At first we focus on the statue of Kano and soon we will see the future of Kano.
I promise to do my best in this work.
thanks for giving me permission.

This is also a test video.
But needs some adjustments mainly in hair.
I pulled out some effects to render faster.
The speed of the video is a bit slow, so to show where I make some corrections.
As this is only a test.
The final version will have all effects turned on and a very dynamic speed.

that's looking really good cris, congrats, but as you said it still need some adjustments,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bYV26bb5A7Y

here is a video of a girl breaking bricks you can use it as a reference:

1. the animation is looking good but is too key posed, she is in this pose and then that pose and finilly that other pose
2. try adding reaction moves, for example, when she hits the brick there is no way she can stay the hand locked like that, the hand should bounce, the clavicle should go down and and the hand should go up and quickly as soon as she hits

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otHZwjElXwQ

3. make on arm reacts to what the other arm does,

the key to make animations believable is to make that the whole body reacts to what every other part of the body is doing

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ae3fgj2x1aI

try this, in front of a mirror, try saying good bye with one hand, like what you will do if you see a friend of your passing by really far away from you, you will raise your right hand and start saying good bye waving your arm left and right and you will notice your whole body moving because of that, shuttle movements but noticeable.

keep the good work man

I used the original frames as a reference, I think for that reason was not realistic.
Sonya Test Your Might Original.jpg
I will use as a reference the videos you showed, thanks.

if u guys had an unlimited budget and as much man power/assistance as you deem necessary.

How long do you think it would take to complete this project? (excluding the stuff that's already been finished obviously)

hypothetically speaking of course...

Seeing the model of Sonya in the TYM animation - it looks really fantastic. I'm utterly convinced, you're definitly on the right track!
Congratulations, Cris Berserk!

the fate of this project rest on arq_hawkin and Cris Berserk's shoulders now

May the Elder Gods guide you

ARQ, great work with Goro! looks more alive that ever, Just a 1 thing, the belt is separate from the body. And will be cool try some shaders to give a bit of translucence to the cloth (red one specialy in the back where the color looks flat) the rest looks cool.
