Re: Okay so a question or a few about if they do make DLC bosses playable

Your questions are the reason why the Bosses will not be made playable.

1. Of course they will be over-powered. The only way to keep the game balanced is to leave them out entirely.
2. It obviously would be unfair. That's why they don't exist in the first place.
3. Good point. It would make sense for players who choose bosses to only use that one character. But in the end, NRS will just run into balance issues.
4. If they were made DLC, then they will obviously be playable. Doing so will also enable them to have arcade endings along with other DLC characters.
5. Goro, Kintaro, Motaro and Kahn were only unlockable in a select few games. It's not likely they will be unlocked, due to the reasons above.

lol. Would kinda be cool to play offline versus, like MK3. "scott stuff, kool stuff, kooler stuff"

Moveset for DLC YOU want

Okay so most of us want certain DLC characters that have not been released. But what would you have for the moveset for those characters in MK9?

Re: Moveset for DLC YOU want

Drahmin ; flyball, air flyball, Shoryuken, Double Lariat, a stun attack that has something to do with his club, and something new

Re: Moveset for DLC YOU want

Chameleon:

Rain's Super Kick
Sub Zero's Slide
Scorpion's Spear
Reptile's Invisibility
Ermac's Teleport

He's going to be bad ass!

Re: Moveset for DLC YOU want

Chameleon should be as unique as he can get. ENOUGH OF COPYCATS.

Chameleon should have chameleon-inspired moves:
- Chameleon tongue (similar to Scorpion's spear but could work low and anti-air depending on different inputs).
- Chameleon jumps (a bit like Cyrax's anti-air grab, but Chameleon would literally jump over his opponent).
- Multi-colouring (Chameleon would morph with the environment with a display of colour increasing his damage).
- Chameleon's touch (a bit like Buzusima's up punch that would work similar to Nightwolf's axe swing).
- Chameleon dash (a dash mixed between Reptile's and Buzusima's low dash in Bloody Roar 2).

This would sound like a Chameleon I would buy.

Re: Moveset for DLC YOU want

Well how about Chameleon keeps around 2 or 3 moves from the other ninjas and also his own unique moves, but to make up for the ninja moves he didnt use, he can morph into them like Shang Tsung's soul steal move.

Re: Moveset for DLC YOU want

I don't get that: he's called CHAMELEON, why not giving him CHAMELEON moves then? People like elemental or specific type of moves for each character. There's absolutely no need for him to become a copycat. I thought MK9 was great for many reasons and one of them being because they finally made everyone unique.

It'd be the same thing asking for human Smoke to have Scorpion's moves just because he had it back then. Makes no sense whatsoever. Or at least adapt some ninja moves into his chameleon form and make them look and play different somehow...

Re: Moveset for DLC YOU want

Okay so like instead of scorpion 's spear he uses his tongue, but is actually hard to do as his uniqueness may come from reptiles which may lead to thoughts and moves of Reptile just non acid.

Re: Moveset for DLC YOU want

I loved playing as Chameleon in MKT he was unique in the sense that he was a copycat that was his power. If you know how to play as most of the ninjas it would be an awesome experience to play as him in MK9.

What DLC do YOU want for Season Packs?

There's been speculation of more DLC in a seasonal batch aside from the ones released this summer, like in autumn or winter batch of DLC. What DLC characters or compatibility pack costumes do YOU want if there is to be another batch?

Re: What DLC do YOU want for Season Packs?
