"A refugee orphaned by Shao Kahn's conquest, Rain grew up under the protection of the Edenian Resistance. An exceptional fighter, he soon rose through their ranks. As his reputation grew, so did his arrogance. When Rain demanded leadership of the Resistance forces, he was refused. Infuriated, he turned against his rebel comrades and betrayed them to their sworn enemy. In payment for this treason, Rain was promised his own army by the emperor Shao Kahn. Power would be his - no matter the cost... "

I cant wait to own people when Rain becomes available for dlc he was my main in UMK3 and Armageddon which wasnt competetive but hey I always did good with him

I'm really looking forward to Rain. He's got a lot of story potential, his moves could be really badass, and it adds another ninja into the mix that I could try out. Skarlet could be really cool, Kenshi is high on my list, and Rain after that oughta be awesome. Great DLC announcements so far. =)

can't wait to see him :D also can't wait for his alt too lol. he's coming with kenshi and ??? but the video said summer fighters so.. I wonder if we'll get Kenshi sooner than a month after skarlet's release and so on for the others. anyway, early or late august, I'm waiting for Rain :D

I can't say for sure until I see a higher-res pic, but that looks pretty sick. Seems like the MKT and MKA looks have been blended a bit like I was hoping. Season Pass was so worth it lol.

I am actually very interested in Rain now that they're bringing him back like this. He was never one of my main characters, but seeing how well they brought back the other characters and their styles...oh man. Rain could be so badass. The new picture of him looks really, really good.

I love the fact that all three announced DLC characters look like I could main them. Skarlet looks like all kinds of fun, Kenshi has always been my favorite Post-UMK3 character, and I liked Rain when I started playing MK9 but have slowly gained more and more interest in him. I'll be trying each of these characters out to see if I'll add them to my list of characters I get good mileage out of. Exciting haha. =P
