Please find enclosed a new video from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios, unveiling the first DLC for the recently released Mortal Kombat. The first downloadable pack offers gamers a chance to get all of the pre-order content in one set. The collection consists of seven pre-order klassic character skins for Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Reptile, Ermac, Mileena, Jade and Kitana and klassic fatalities for Reptile, Scorpion and Sub-Zero. The pack will be available starting June 7th on Microsoft Xbox Live Arcade for 400 Microsoft Points or $4.99 on PlayStation Network.

Mortal Kombat is the most brutal installment of the legendary fighting game to date and is currently available on the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft in 2011. The game, along with the upcoming DLC, have all been developed by NetherRealm Studios, led by Mortal Kombat creator and creative director Ed Boon.

So what happens if you already have 5 of the 7 skins? Will downloading this pack screw up anything since some of them are already unlocked?

What's that in GBP, about £3-£4? An OK price, I guess. I'm not really bothered about the costumes, but I'll get this for the Fatalities.

I can handle that. They could've gone the Capcom route and charged us a hell of a lot more, plus the package at least contains all the crap that's already on the disc.

I still have that 500 or so points left in my account anyway, so what the hell.

Yeah, I'm not going to pay for this. The con...kontent is ALREADY ON THE DISC! Why are people so readily willing to be suckered into paying for something that is ON THE FREAKING DISC?!

God, I hate people.

Because they chose to charge for this, I will not buy any DLC for this game. Period.

i spent $150 on my TE and this $hit is already in the disc... i'll not buy this and probably don't buy anything...
and prepare yourself for arcade kollection and next year HD kollection... WB wants to squeeze every penny
we need to show them or disaprove on this

If you can't/won't pay $5 for this package, then you're cheap. A very reasonable price for very appealing outfits. Even if it cost more, I'd still purchase the package. Hopefully, we get more packs like this in the future.

so much for "never pay for content that's already on the disc" huh?

I don't hate being the one who told you guys so.

]Yeah, if you can't give $5 for this package, then you're just cheap. A very reasonable price for very appealing outfits. Even if it cost more, I'd still purchase the package.

Yay for business!

You're missing the point. It's not about the price, it's about the fact that there IS a price. The content was available on the very first day, ON THE DISC. I can actually SEE the content in the Krypt as artwork and USE some of the content in one of the challenges. This should be free. If you want to rationalize it so that you feel better about wasting your money, fine, but just keep in mind that you're helping to ruin the industry.

As far as price is concerned 7 costumes, 3 fatalities, and all of which are on disc? It is a little annoying, but I wouldn't blame NRS. WB or Microsoft are probably the reason they had to charge for it. Microsoft doesn't really do free DLC and WB is out for as much money as they can get.

I will purchase this because I want the content and have a free $20 PSN card I won, on disc or not. I do feel like $5 is reasonable for DLC, but not for something that is already on the disc we payed $60-$180 for (including Normal, Kollector's, and Tournament Edition).

But anything is better than the Capcom and Call Of Duty rape fests people pay for.
