I make this guy to how to fight some characters, the idea is making it against all characters but ill put the most difficult to fight against in online mode.
(If you do not understand, sorry for my english)

How to fight against:

Smoke
Advantages: *Teleport - *Smoke Cloud (Stun) -*Shake (Projectil Parry)
Weakness: *Blocked teleport rolling

Smoke is IMO the most difficult character to beat in online mode.
Teleport: he has the fastest of all the offensive teleporters of the game, you have to block all the time you are not comboing him, specially when you are far away, once you block it he will roll in the air so you can perform a combo on him very easy. if you want to go offensive approach him jumping and kicking so if he teleports there is a 50/50 that you kick him when he appears behind you or he simply doesnt reach you with his punch.
Smoke Cloud: this move will teleport you infront of him in the air and you will have no deffense, fortunly it blocks high so its easy to block it, the problem comes when you ar eon ground and they perform it when you are waking up, the secret to dont fall in this trap is block everytime you bite the dust, until you are up and able to combo him.
Shake: If you hit him with a projectil while he is shaking he will teleport over you and stomp you, so avoid throw him projectiles when he is far, so he doesnt have time enough to perform this move. Be careful with his enhanced Shake, its not only a projectil parry it works with any hit (kicks, punches, etc)

Synthesis
*Block all the time to avoid his teleports.
*Block everytime you are on ground until you wake up so you avoif being hit by his Smoke Cloud.
*Dont throw projectiles to him while you are far because he has enough time to use his Shake. (parry move)
*Jump and Kick while you go forward to kick his teleports and smoke moves.
*Use teleports if you can to surprise him.


Scorpion
Advantages: *Teleport * Hellfire (unblockable pop up) *Spear (fast stun) *Takedown (low hit)
Weakness: *Blocked teleport rolling

Teleport: His teleport is not as fast as Smoke but its still fast, blocking is your best friend because he will roll in the air when this move is blocked open to combos, but becareful with his enhanced teleport (flameport) he wont roll in the air and will punch you again. You can also jump and kick to avoid it or in some cases kick him while he teleports behinf you.
Spear: is the fastest projectil in the game and will stun you and drag before him so its deadly blocking is the only wait to avoid it. if you have a teleporting character it will help ypu to avoid it and punch him from behinf because he cannot block you when he is performing the move. Sub-Zero's slice can avoid though, also low projectiles can help too, like sindel's low fireball.
Demon Fire: This move is unblockable, and is ridiculously fast, jump to avoid it, the best thing you can do is to not stay in the same place for many time while fighting scorpion and jump instantly after you wake up because scorpion player usually do this move when you are recoviring your character.
Takedown: Scorpion players dont perform this move so many times so is not a hugh issue, the secret is to block low and remember that his range is very short.

Synthesis
*When you are far, block his Teleports and Spears.
*When you are close, low block his takedowns.
*Dont stay more than one second standing in the same place to avoid his Demon Fire.
*Jump fast everytime you wake up, they will try to use the Demon Fire in that moments.
*Dont make a projectile competition, his Spear will win (is very fast)


Noob
Advantages: *Teleport - *Shadows (3 types) - *Ghostball (block disabler)
Weakness: *Just a few combos *Blocked teleport rolling

Teleport: Noob's teleport is severly spammed and very easy to do, so you have to be careful with it, Noob will teleport under you and catch you, its high blockable the problem is that he can catch you in the air very easy, just jump and block to avoid it.
Shadows: Noob's shadows are very fast and you never know where they can hit you, his shadow charge hits you high, his shadow slice hits you low and his shadow knee hits you while you are in the air, avoid them jumping or blocking, if you have a teleporter, use it everytime you can but try to dont become an spammer, you dont want to get bad reputation.
Ghostball: This projectil removes you the privilege of blocking for a brief time or until you get hit, so teleport or jump away and in the best of the scenarios, do a combo on the bastard so he cannot take advantage. Most of the noob players use this move when they want to use their x-ray because you cannot block it, jump, jump so the creepy shadow cant catches you from behind.

Synthesis
*Block his teleports and shadows.
*Block when you are waking up, he will try to use his Shadows to make you fall again.
*When he uses his ghostball, jump because you cannot block, and be careful he will try to use his x-ray after a ghostball.


Sub-Zero
Advantages: *Iceball (Freezing) - *Ice Clone (parry like freezing) - *Slide (low hit)
Weakness: *Slow moves *Almost useless Ice Puddle

Ice Ball: Block it, try to dont jump it because it can hit your little toe and it does freeze you anyway, this move is a bit slow so you can anticipate it very easy with enough time to block or teleport.
Ice Clone: Sub-Zero will clone a creepy pale guy that if its hit it will freeze you, the better you can do is teleport so you can avoid him appearing from behind (except if you are playing with Smoke because he teleports hits from both sides and you will hit SZ once and the second time you will get freezed). Another thing you can do is throw SZ a projectile because the clone will be destroyed if his creator is hit.
Slide: This move will annoy you because is fast, you need to low block it or at least jump it, low blocking is recommended because if you block it SZ's recovery is slow and he will be open for combos.
Ice Puddle: Just jump away is a very slow and lame move, it wont be a big issue.

Tip: Take advantage of SZ's worst problem, his slow speed combat style but dont become arrogant he is still deadly...

Synthesis
*Do not jump forward while he is standing, you will fall in his ice clone trap.
*Be careful with his Ice Balls.
*Take advantage of his slow speed.
*Low block his slides.
*Jump away from his Ice Puddles, he will try to use this move while you are waking up.


Baraka
Advantages: Chop Chop (anti-air) - Blade Spin (anti air) - Blade Charge (fast move)
Weakness: *Only one projectile *Weak from far distances, needs to be near of his rival

Chop Chop and Blade Spin: You have to avoid jumping baraka, he will perform one of this moves to hurt while you are in the air, i recommen to use projectiles and offensive teleports to punish him.
Blade Charge: This moves is really fast but his range is medium, so if you are far throwing him projectiles you are safe, but block when you are at a mid or short distance because this move can surprise you.
Spark: This is the onlyprojectil baraka has, is slow so you can block it easy or take the advantage and teleport because he will have no deffense while performing this move, if you want just throw him a projectile back but you will be hit by his spark too.

Synthesis
*Do not jump he will use his anti-airs (chop chop, blade spin)
*Use projectiles he has no power when you are far from him
*Try to not get close to him, he will have advantage at close range.
*Block at mid to close distances, he will try to use his Blade Charge and is very fast so you cannot react quick enough.

Strategies

Kratos

The God of War is no slouch when it comes to brute strength, which trumps his lack of speed. His Away + 2 Pop-Up attack can lead to standard juggle attacks such as 1, 1, 2,or he can use his follow-up attack (holding 2 after the initial Away + 2 hit) and do a considerable amount of damage. Low Kick cancels into a Head of Helios which can stun and stagger an opponent if they are not ducking, and you can use hisAway + 2pop-up afterward for even sillier damage.

The Apollo’s Bow is a fast, damaging projectile that hits twice, has very fast recovery.

and allows Kratos to do well in projectile battles. The enhanced version allows for three projectiles to be on screen at once.
but all of them can be blocked high. If this isn’t enough, good luck jumping at Kratos; his uppercut is one of the best in the game.

very good compilation, keep coming ! Nice touch talking about disadvantages about abusing/spamming certain moves.
 
Great idea for a thread. But I think it would be even better if we were to list specific character matchups. I can post some good Cyrax Vs. Scorpion tactics.

Yeah but if im not wrong I'd have to make... 28x28... 784 matchups lol, what i can do is put character recomendatios for example to fight smoke the best is to use this char and this char. thanx for the idea.

Advantages-Teleport Drop, Ball Roll, Air Sai Blast
Disadvantages-Blocked Teleport and Ball Roll
Teleport Drop: Mileena's Teleport Drop can easily catch you off guard if your not careful. Also be wary of the EX version as it hits twice. This, and her Ball Roll are big reasons why you should be careful trading projectiles with her. The Teleport can also easily knock you out of the sky. Fortunately it can be blocked high, and punished.
Ball Roll: Fast, and pops you up for a combo. Goes under most projectiles. Fortunately, it can also be blocked high and punished.
Air Sai Blast: Much like the Teleport Drop, this move can easily knock you out of the sky. It can also make trying to approach her difficult. Punishing it with a Teleport can also be somewhat difficult (unless your Smoke) as she recovers fast enough to be able to block it.
 
A great idea. I like Immortal Reaver's match-up idea. Figuring every single match-up would be cataclysmically difficult, but maybe list the three characters that are best against them and why. Or list how the best and worst type of character and why? Character types being teleporters, jugglers, grapplers, etc.

Yeah that's true but you wouldn't have to list every possible matchup. You could just add them as people post with good tactics.

And im thinking in adding some matchups or at least some recommendatios against each character.
 
I added baraka and a synthesis under every character to have quick acces to the tips fully described above.
