Street Fighter X Tekken

I don't maybe it had to do with me download some porn on the computer but that's just a guess.

Jk I have no idea what happened.

Oh yeah! Thanks for reminding me :). Hopefully we can play again soon, like on the weekend when I don't want to knock over a group of midgets with an oversized watermelon.

THANK GOD.

Hopefully they'll re-adjust it for Resident Evil 6.

so them patches lol how many of you got hurt by it?

Me, but they aren't really affecting me, they're actually helping me. Its helping me because instead of going cr.mk xx Lk pinwheel, i'll do cr.mk xx lk fireball store, allowing me with something extra to work with.

Kinda regret taking the game back.. So hyped by watching tournament play

Yeah, that kinda sucks. Maybe you should get it again after EVO? Theres a lot of new discoveries by that time and the things that people don't like might be eliminated by then.

Maybe, but I really want to pick up SSF4AE2012.

It's about $17 and it will help me with this game whenever I pick it up again.

I quit because I lacked motivation to become good, and most of my friends had Resident evil:ORC at the time so I was playing it alone, now they stopped playing it, and I need something new to play. I would prefer a new fighter instead of a FPS or shooter of some sort.

My main team was Lili x Ryu. God my execution was terrible to in this game. Links are so much harder than basic strings and chains.

Yeah, get whatever one you want. Execution feels awkward at first but after a while it starts to feel natural, you just need to spend some time in the lab.

So used to that MK9 feel man, and that's another thing. I want to expand and not sit on MK forever, you learn more from other fighters and I think Street fighter is were the true competition is. I'm super competitive when it comes to Video games.

lol vital admitted that he use to be a scrub. I suggest you get AE first

That's something I never do also, but that's where I had to start in MK also.

I kinda treated this game like MK9 to, one of my biggest mistakes :|

Yeah SF will make you unintentionally competitive, believe me it happened to me. That MK feel should wear off once you start playing more often

You develop a SF feel after a while. I started on guilty gear (and UMK3) so when I came to street fighter it felt weird, I was trying to air block ect. took me a few days to stop doing that, took me a month to get a vague feel of the game and took me about 3 months for it to make sense. Mk9 is a lot easier to learn than sf imo, because the execution barrier isn't too high so you can focus on your fundamentals more and you don't have to worry about cross ups ect.Don't try to be Daigo on your first day.

Yea, but after a while of getting my ass handed to me I lose motivation to play

What inspire you guys to keep playing?

If you say "Because it's fun" I'm going to smash my head into my keyboard.. I can't have fun when I play fighters, My competitiveness keeps me playing. <_<

^ Yes, that to. I've never encountered TRUE cross ups before so my defense was weak in SFxT. I have the basics embedded into my head because of MK, but I want to play a Technical fighter to see if I really learned anything.

And Ok

I had this Idea of Recording sessions in the Lab and some ranked matches for you guys to critique, and give advice. For AE though.

Thats a good way to improve and i'm sure we'll all be happy to do that. Another way thats even better is to watch your own matches and then see what you would do in a calm situation. Also seeing where you lost yourself, its all good somebody telling you why you lost and you just nodding and agreeing, but it's even better if you can recognise how ang why you lost.
Honestly, SSF4AE2012/SFXT isn't that technical, if you want technical play guilty gear or KoF, maybe Blazblue.

What kept me going was me finding the right character. Picking a character that fits you makes online a lil bit easier

When I said Technical, I meant more technical than MK9.

Before I critique myself I have to learn SF terminology and Inputs(Universal) , I know basic terms.. Mix-ups, Set ups, Frame traps.. Fundamental terms.

@Yung, The mains I had in mind were Chun Li, Sakura, Juri, Cammy, El Fuerte, and Akuma.

Out of them I really want to pick up Sakura though.

Well, hopefully they get their priorities straight.
