Sheeva, a character that is revered by many as the worst character in the OG trilogy.
Well I have created a story just for her:
Again, here is some music to set the mood
Centuries ago, under Kintaro's tyrannical rule over the Shokan empire, a rebel group sought to bring Kintaro to death for his heinous crimes against the Shokan people.
The leader of the revolution, Bambaila, was a life-long friend to Goro. Goro ordered her and her daughter's life be spared. Kintaro, unwillingly, obeys Goro's commands.
Skip forward a few hundred years, Goro and Shang Tsung have failed at securing a final victory for Outworld in the Mortal Kombat tournament. Shao Kahn enlists the larger, and more ruthless Kintaro into his ranks as his personal guard.
As he enter the throne room, Kintaro brings with him, a gift, a sign of loyalty. The daughter of the recently executed rebel leader, Sheeva. Goro notices the strong resemblance this young Shokan has to Bambaila and realizes what Kintaro had done.
Outraged by this betrayal, Goro demands Sheeva's release. Kahn commands Goro learn his place. Sheeva sees Goro and attempts to run for him. Kintaro raises his two left arms and slams her to the ground.
Goro roars mightily and charges Kintaro. They ensue in a massive battle that nearly destroys Kahn's throne room. He blasts them both with black magic and incapacitates them.
Goro later awakens, chained in the dungeon. The bonds that hold him were not made for the brute strength of a Shokan. He breaks himself and Sheeva free, then easily defeats the Centaur guards.
They flee. Shunned by all of Outworld and banished from the Empire, they wander with no destination in mind. They are being followed though, they can feel it.
One day they awaken, surrounded by Tarkatan. Goro tells Sheeva she must run. Goro fends off as many as he can, breaking their bones and crushing their skulls, but is eventually slain. The remaining Tarkatan are too weak to give chase.
Sheeva becomes a nomad, traveling with nothing but her thoughts and memories. Her mother's execution, her friend's brutal murder and her being hunted by these savage creatures causes the once docile Sheeva, to go mad.
She looses her grip on reality, and has developed a psychotic persona. She disfigures herself in horrifying ways to atone for Goro's death. She has ground away all the flesh on her hands, filed her teeth to a bloody yet sharp point, and she wears only the bones of the Tarkatans who were foolish enough to come back for her.
Her only conscious thought is of Kintaro's death. The man who wears Goro's skull on his belt. His flesh will one day be hers to consume.
Well thats all guys, longest one yet I think. I went for a "Havik-ish" twist with her. Its all I could think of, that or her joining up with Raiden and the good guys, but I thought that was too cliche.
Tell me what you think, and please don't forget to check out other "Rebuilding" threads me and a member named Tenkai Hyabusa have created
