Another 360 controller thread. Need advice.

Blah blah blah same analog and dpad issues with the 360 version as everyone else. I cant seem to use many specials 100% of the time when i want them to be performed. I normally use the d-pad, I don't really know if the analog makes a more notable difference or not. I've even sanded out the inside of one of my controllers and stuck a plastic disk in it to help the buttons but it still seems awkard.

I'm looking for something to help. I want to buy either an aftermarket controller or a converter for a playstation controller.

Heres what I found for a controller.
http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Pad-E.../dp/B002LT9PXQ

I like the idea of it, because of the d-pad, but the button placement seems odd.

I also found this for a converter

I think this would solve my d-pad issues if i just plugged in one of my old ps2 controllers (do the ps2 and the ps3 controllers have different d-pads?) and used that instead, I have heard that the playstation controllers are so much better than the xbox's for fighting games because of the general feel and the responsive d-pads. Plus the d-pad isn't connected in a circle like the xbox's.

Just looking for some advice or tips to help my gameplay, maybe it's not the controller, but I think it is. Thanks everyone.

Get that Hori controller off Amazon. Got mine yesterday. Fixed everything. Yes, button layout is a bit different, but you'll get used to it in a half hour or so.

I like the controller, but with most aftermarket controllers, will it break after like 2 months or something?
EDIT: Plus the converter is a lot less cheaper, but also out of stock. And I already have some ps2 controllers, but then there might be lag issues with the wire. eek.
