To all MK Fans in Europe: seems like the game gets released on Monday (18th)

I just telephoned with a shop here in Berlin where i preordered my game and after the guy talked to his distributor he answered me that they get the game on Monday the 18th... the distributor will have it on saturday (in two days)... hope this is no mistake... when its not... german MK fans (and probably europe fans too) can have the game on monday :hail:
 
I have a feeling i'll be playing this on Saturday. Dunno why, it's a gut feeling.

Some stores already have the game in stock, even in Europe.

Here's hoping.....
 
I pre ordered my copy from amazon and they tend to be pretty good with getting the games out to you a day or two early hope its the case this time!
 
I just found a german online-shop who has this game in stock tomorrow on the 15th. I asked him if he can send the game immediately tomorrow and he said yes. So probably i will get it this Saturday or Monday :-)
 
i've used amazon uk to order games a couple of times before and evry time they have delivered on release day. no later or earlier. sorry to ruin the excitement but i doubt we'll be getting it early in the uk at least. also when you pre order the game from amazon im sure the only option available is to get it on release day or after. GAME, Gamestation and sucha are pretty strict and will not sell early but tesco's, sainbury's, morrisons and asda are likely to sell early. most of their employees don't know or care when the game is meant to be sold.

Same goes for Intertoys here in Holland. They had Crysis 2 on the shelves a week in advance. I'll be checking there after work.

Weekend is a pretty realistic time to start snooping around in stores. I pre-ordered it at a local gamestore, so i'll get the Fatality T-shirt. BUT if i can get my mitts on it earlier....screw the t-shirt. :)
 
Amazon have been late with a number of my orders... just how it works for me.

My pre-order on play.com is on status "Order Placed." I don't think the game will comes out on the 18th, you might just have a chance to get it early.

Here's hoping they send it out before the end of the weekend and I get it Monday/Tuesday though.

Amazon UK is definately not your best bet if you want it early. I always get on release day or later.

S***to (don't want to get them in any trouble) gaurauntee you will have it by release day and often send out very early, so I have ordered from there even though there is no bonus content.

Agree thet some supermarkets seem oblivious to the rules, but also sometimes they don't have a clue to put games out on shelves once released.

I could really do with a copy by Sunday as I have to go away on business and it would be cool to take the game and ps3 for the hotel!!! :)

I know the site you are talking about, how is your order doing so far?
 
I just asked here in Holland when they will send the game.

And they are shipping the game here on monday april 18th, so we will receive it tuesday.

I'll be checking some small-ass stores on Saturday. Somehow I got the feeling I will succeed......

My girlfriend has 2 late shifts in the weekend, so I sincerely hope I can acquire a copy....

Shouldn't be a problem theoretically, since a lot of toystores don't know the term "Embargo".

I'll let you know if I find anything. ;)

Where in Holland do you live? If i manage to find one early, are you interested?

Am willing to help out a fellow Dutchman. :P
 
I also come from holland. :) I've ordered at Dimension Plus. They usually don't ask for payment until they have it in stock or stock will arive within 1 or 2 days. I had to pay this morning, so that could indicate we could get it by tuesday! Hope so. Allthough waiting until thursday doesn't hurt. :)

Also a fellow Dutchman here. Let's update each other by PM in case we find early copies.
I live in NB and some local stores are known for ignoring release dates, so I'll keep you updated on that.
