Your "Fave 5" Fighting Game Franchises

Okay, this is my official first thread and i just wanted to know what some of you guys favorite fighting games are (1-5 Favorite to Least Favorite.. in that order).. Ill start with my list and the reason why MK is my number 1 favorite fighting game..

1. Mortal Kombat
2. Street Fighter
3. Fight Night
4. Marvel vs. Capcom
5. Tekken

Mortal Kombat is my favorite fighting game because it has everything you want all in one game.. Cool characters, Blood, Beautiful stages, Fatalities, Extra/Bonus features, Fast gameplay and that "Dark" feel to it that we all love.. Anyways, I'll keep it brief with that

5. BlazBlue (it's grown on me, what can I say?)

I recently started playing Melty Blood and its pretty fun so far, but MK will always be my fav fighting game.

Wishing Powerstone would make a comeback!
 
Eh, well I don't really have favorite to least favorite [except for a few] But my top 5 favorite fighting games are:

1.Super Smash Bros. Melee
2. Soul Calibur 2
3. Guilty Gear XX Accent Core
4.UMK3/MKT
5. Tekken 3/6

Though I do love more fighting games these are my top five.

Honorable mentiosn in my top 5:

Dark Stalkers: CTC, and VF5.

Mortal Kombat and nothing else.

Seriously. I've enjoyed a few of the Tekkens and Soul Caliburs but no other franchise compares to Mortal Kombat for me.
