I wanted to take a detailed survey, because I love reading some people's opinions on the aspects of the game, and felt like there wasn't a whole thread dedicated to all these types of questions. So with that said, here are the questions I'd like to discuss, and hopefully get some good feedback on. Keep in mind, this is strictly centered around this game only. This thread is likely to include some long ass posts, so if you aren't one to appreciate a detailed discussion, you should probably just exit the thread now.

F2 - Legs slice, neck slice, catch head.

Sub-Zero
F1 - Freezes legs, rips off upper torso.
F2 - Pulls out opponent's spine, then freezes and shatters their body with spine/head.

Milleena
F1 - Sai throw and head rip and eat.
F2 - ThrowSais into feet, rips off waist and torso.

Kitana
F1 - Slices off arms and head with fans.

Johnny Cage
F1 - Uppercut decapitation, torso rip, head catch.

Kratos maybe :p... but i can get used to him..

1.Sub-Zero (8 because I love his torso rip fatality but I'm not a fan of the male ninjas.)
2.Scorpion (8 because I like his slice and dice fatality but I'm not a fan of the male ninjas.)
3.Mileena (9 because of her looks, gameplay, and her agility. However, her fatalities don't intrigue me so far.)
4.Nightwolf (6 because I'm not a fan of his and his fatality was one of the worst.)
5.Reptile (6 because of the same reason as Nightwolf's. Plus, I love his Acid Spit but the fatality made it look weak.)
6.Sektor (8 because I love his rocket fatality but I'm not a fan of robots.)
7.Kung Lao (9 because he has the BEST FATALITIES SO FAR. I hope Kitana, Jade, and Mileena have fatalities like his or even nastier.)
8.Liu Kang (8 because he looks good and looks really strong. His first fatality isn't too bad but after reading about his dragon morph, I've decided to give him this score.)
9.Cyrax (8 his fatalities are good but I'm not a fan of robots.)
10.Kitana (8 because of her good looks and good gameplay. Her fatality is pretty much the same as before though. I hope she has more variety later on.)
11.Jax (7 because I'm not a Jax fan but he looks better than ever.)
12.Sonya (9 I love that Nina Williams look and her gameplay. I've read about her fatality and I like it.)
13.Johnny Cage (8 because I love his nut punches and his sexy look but it isn't much of a difference as before.)
14.Ermac (8 because I'm not a fan of the male ninjas but I like his powers a lot.)
15.Noob Saibot (8 because of his gameplay though I'm not a fan of male ninjas.)
16.Kano (7 because he looks good but I've not seen enough of him yet.)
17.Jade (8 because I like how she looks and yes she is my number 1 character in MK but I have not seen a gameplay of her nor a fatality from her. I am pretty worried that her staff is more like a power than a weapon. This rank will change once I see her in action and not just a punching bag of noobs.)

Milleena
F1 - Sai throw and head rip and eat. (7 because it's not really much. She just eats up the head and not the entire body. I hope she will have a fatality where she'd eat the opponent from the groin to the face especially since a lot of people have been somehow talking about her giving "orals" to victims in the Youtube comments.)
F2 - ThrowSais into feet, rips off waist and torso. (Right now I'll give it an 8 just because she touches the guy somewhere at the groin while lifting him up but hopefully it is more than just tossing off the body afterwards. I hope NRS is hiding something about this fatality as a surprise later on such as her eating up the guy at the end of the fatality.)

Kitana
F1 - Slices off arms and head with fans. (7 because it's not much of a difference from her fan decapitation. At least they added the amputation of arms.)

Johnny Cage
F1 - Uppercut decapitation, torso rip, head catch. (8 because it is a good combination of his signature fatalities.)

Cyrax
F1 - Uses net, opponent splits into pieces. (9)
F2 - Uses saw to slice opponent up, then kick. 8

Sektor
F1 - Missile explodes body, and follows with missiles targetting limbs. (9)

1.Sub-Zero- 8- he's a cool character and one of the originals, a bit overrated but I don't hate him
2.Scorpion- 7- i love his moves and his gameplay but sorely overrated, him and Sub Zero are like Ryu and Ken, too much limelight and footage
3.Mileena- 8- i love her revamped story and she's one of my favorite MK characters and favorite villain
4.Nightwolf- 3- never liked his character, way too much of an overdone stereotype
5.Reptile- 6- meh...he's alright, he's necessary
6.Sektor- 8- personal favorite of the three cyborg characters, i like him
7.Kung Lao- 7- cool character, best fatalities i've seen yet
8.Liu Kang- 8- nice to see him in and back in his original form
9.Cyrax- 7- fun character, the more agile of the cyborg characters, looking forward to cyrax vs sektor action
10.Kitana- 9- awesome look, awesome gameplay, would like to see a vignette of her next, time she gets payback on mileena
11.Jax- 9- never liked him before but i must say i think he looks awesome in this one, i love grappler based characters and he fights right in there
12.Sonya- 10- favorite all-time MK character next to Tanya, i'd like to see more gameplay (where she's not getting beat up or attacked)
13.Johnny Cage- 2- dislike him...i know he's necessary for this game as a fan service, but i just can't stand him, fun to kill though
14.Ermac- 10- looking absolutely awesome based on his X-ray, very flexible, agile, and magical, not bad, not bad at all
15.Noob Saibot- 8- never interested me before but i'm liking his moveset and x-ray, might make a fan out of me
16.Kano- 6- looks good, not one of my favorites though so i'm not too worried about him
17.Jade- 7- she may be my least favorite female character, but i'm willing to give her another chance in this game
18.Goro- 8- looks real bad-ass, i like a lot

F2 - ThrowSais into feet, rips off waist and torso.- 8- pretty cool even though it's a rip-off of Kira's Deception fatality

Kitana
F1 - Slices off arms and head with fans.- 4- needs a lot of work, more flashiness is necessary for a character so graceful

Johnny Cage
F1 - Uppercut decapitation, torso rip, head catch.- 1- really stupid fatality (for a stupid character, not surprised)

Cyrax
F1 - Uses net, opponent splits into pieces.- 8- i like it, especially since it's one of the few you hear the opponent scream in agony
F2 - Uses saw to slice opponent up, then kick.- 7- pretty cool fatality

Sektor
F1 - Missile explodes body, and follows with missiles targetting limbs.- 8- i like it, suits him well

Reptile
F1 - Pukes acid in throat, then tears out stomach.- 5- somewhat disappointing, doesn't explain characters with masks (Jade, Kitana) or characters that don't have mouths (Cyrax and Sektor)

Kung Lao
F1 - Uses hat as buzzsaw, and drags opponent through, cutting them in half.- 10- pure brutality
F2 - Hat throw decap then body split.- 9- second best fatality so far

Liu Kang
F1 - Punches through opponent.- 6- meh...not that great

Nightwolf

If I had to put them in a specific order it would go as follows: Smoke, Scorpion, Sub Zero, Cyrax, and Sektor.

I listed Scorpion a lot because he is my Second Favorite. Smoke has NOT been revealed yet so I couldn't elaborate on him. Once Smoke is released, he will definitely be at my number 1 spot.

I was hoping for some big changes ( Like Sektor and Cyrax not changing into Robots, or just playing as the Original Sub-Zero instead of his brother ), but It's nothing major, I guess though changing everything around with the Characters would just confuse some players. I'm a bit worried about the Story though, but I'll wait to see how this whole " Raiden's time travel message " situation goes.

b. What do you think about Tag Team mode? Awesome, a nice way to have a break from Single Player, will be a blast to sit with Friends and play against others online.

a. What's the best part about this game, in your eyes? Definitely going back to its 2D roots, but also the Art Direction aswell, It looks AMAZING and I've never seen another Mortal Kombat that even compares, the effort that's gone in is fantastic.

b. Based on gameplay alone, which character do you favor most? Noob Saibot...I personally the past iterations of Noob Saibot were rather bland. However, his shadow clone moves look great. This is just based on seeing footage, so my opinions may change when I actually play the game.

c. Based on looks alone, which character do you favor least? Johnny Cage: It was already hard to like at it is. I don't care for the tattoo on his chest...if they wanted to give him a tattoo, they could used a more interesting design. His belt buckle served the purpose of showing him as narcissist. Also, I'm not sure why those hand wraps have all gaps and openings.

d. Based on gameplay alone, which character do you favor least? Nightwolf: I don't know....He might actually be a solid character but he doesn't stand out to me.
