PC version of Mortal Kombat 9...

I don't really know who or what is "SK entertainment" or "Sterkinekor entertainment" but they are saying that PC version of MK is coming out June 28. I don't know what to think. What is USA release date for MK:KE??
 
Ster Kinekor are the official distributor of Warner Bros products in South Africa, as far as I know. They might have branches in other countries as well.

Could you provide a link to that info?

EDIT: I did some research myself. SK representatives had posted that on their Facebook page:

I keep wondering how credible that information really is. Retail was set for August 6th, and pulling it that much back in time ( even before the digital release ) seems like a weird move. Unless they decided to pull the digi release for an even earlier date ( like in 3-4 days time from now ).

June 28th, and we still have no preorder options at all, besides Amazon and Zavvi. This is ridiculous.

I know they said there is a physical option, but I question if that'll be widespread at all and not enough to do pre-orders. Steam also only does pre-orders on bigger stuff, not common sadly but I'd bet if it comes up for pre-order it'll be the week before release.
 
Will it be released in June 28 instead of july 3? And will it be worldwide? Anyway good thing is that there is not any major game coming to pc or console in July and because of that we will have all the time to play it!!!

Did it became avaliable for preorder on green man gaming today? Then maybe later today or tomorow will come to steam for preorder. The recomended requirements are realy nothing for today standards. GTX 560 TI? A 2,5 years old card(the same card that i have) Core i 750? Again a 2,5 years old cpu, i got my pc in june 2011 and i have better cpu (core i5 2500k 3,3ghz) 4 GB RAM? I have 12 gb ram. See? Now while my pc can still runs games very well dosent means that it is not old , do you understand it? So next time you see requirements like this... Dont be suprised!! When i bouight my pc back in 2011 there were very few games to have these requirements. Now almost all new games have these requirements.
 
Unless you can't use GMG there's no real point in waiting for the Steam pre-order because it will be full price, you can get it from GMG cheaper.
 
Yup, same here, I found a voucher code for GMG and paid for my copy a few minutes ago as well. 22.50 is still better than 29.90. No point in waiting for a Steam preorder indeed.

BTW, in the email I got from GMG, with the activation instructions and all that, I can't seem to figure out where I should download the game from, and where do I get my product key to register it with Steam? Any clue? Never used Steam before.

Yeah i would like someone to explain this.
Is it same like pre-ordering from Steam?
Do we have to download some app or something or we just get Steam Key and activate game when it is available?
Do we get our key before or at the day of release?
 
^ At the top of the GMG page, find your name and put your mouse over it, choose games, then it will give the categories , Other, Steam, or Origin, select Steam and there will be all your Steam games with their keys, copy your key, open up Steam and at the top left select Games >>> Activate Product on Steam and then follow the steps there to enter the code and redeem it.
 
I really hope that these SR on GMG are not real because when i look at Recommended it's too much for a 2.5D UE3 game. But we will see...
