Midway has released a new high-resolution render of <b>Liu Kang</b> from the upcoming <a href="http://www.trmk.org/games/mortal_kombat_vs_dc_universe/">Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe</a>.

That's the best Liu Kang has looked in a LONG time. I love the way he's wearing his victory medallion on his belt. Reminds me of a professional wrestler. He's classic, but totally High Def. I love the ties on the boots.
 
He does look good, but that belt is uber gay.

I was really hoping for a different look for him, but he does look good, minus the belt. lol
 
I too think his resemblence to our favorite often-shirtless actor who likes to push evil sorcerors onto beds of spikes is a definite plus. When I think of Liu Kang or Johnny Cage or Sonya I always think of them from the movie. As wildly inaccurate as it was, it still cemented those mannerisms into my mind as being how those characters act.

I think he is, we seem to be getting a few of them lately.

The first thing I noticed was his resemblance to Robin Shou. Well, the third thing I noticed. The first thing was that he wasn't a Zombie, the second was the gay belt thing. I was kinda hoping he would be a Zombie.
 
what? no love for Ho Sung Pak? The best Liu kang by far....

Ho Sung + Eddie Wong + Robin Shou + Bruce Lee's pants + gay MK belt = MKvDC Liu Kang
