Looks like Japan finally got there own equivalent of Marvel vs. Capcom. Actually, seeing as Capcom is a Japanese property, this is probably their equivalent of MKvsDC. Looks like Cell-Sheded graphics again, this time done very well, thought it was 2D for a minute. Hope it gets a western console release, even though I don't know anime at all. In the wake of Speed Racer, they just might release it over here.

I'm really into anime but I'm not sure I know that company....any idea what they've done? Because I will play any game as long as it's good.

The ones I remember from saturday mornings as a child are Speed Racer, Gatchaman (Battle of the Planets here in the west), Robotech, Samurai Pizza Cats (The single greatest cartoon ever), and everyone knows about or at least has heard of Neon Genesis Evangelion.

I love MK as much as you, if not more. You just dont like games with solid fighting engines and balanced gameplay.

How many arcade MKs do you have in your house? Where were you when MK, MK2, MK3 & UMK3 & MK4 came out? Do you play MK competetively?

Again, I never said I hate MK. I just happen to be a fan of the MK's that dont suck.

Which brings me to my point of severe dissapointment with the franchise. Being let down over the last 10 years has been hard. And thats why there is still a scene of the arcade era MKs. Other people who love MK but think 3-D MK is garbage. Get over it.

Seriously though, although I probably never will own an MK arcade cab, and thus am not questioning your MK manhood, it's getting old Tim. Yeah, you hate MK, at least you hate all MK for the last million years or so, but why does nearly every post you make have to be devoted to forcing this into our faces? Yeah, it's great that you have opinions and everything but after 312 posts, about 300 of them summing up to "3D MK sucks", it just gets a little boring. It's easy for people to wonder why you even post here, and I'm among them at times. When you do contribute it's great, it was a surprise to see you onside for MKvDC. But deep down, I know it's just gonna be another year and another 312 posts of you saying it sucks because you won't move on and won't accept other people want to. And then if Boon keeps his promise, MK8 will be out and it all starts again. Just try and stifle it, please. Back on topic guys.

And I need to retract my Capcom statement, Rival Schools was pretty good. So were the first two Street Fighter EXes, but they were technically almost completely made by Arika.

What's more...how would any of those work in a fighting game? Gatchaman looks similar to Power Rangers....I love Power Rangers but in a fighting game? They just look silly. Samurai Pizza cats are like little kids. And Evas are like 100 ft tall. I guess those ones I havn't heard of must be more popular in Japan.

by the fact that i said about a million years it was pretty obvious i was exaggerating the numbers. There are more games in the series that you hate than the ones you like, and if you don't hate it why do you keep insulting it? I'm not telling you what to think, just respect that a lot of us think differently. We are still fans, not used to be fans. And you say you will voice your opinion if need be, which is all well and good, but most of the time it isn't needed. we all know already.

Tim, you're stubborn inability to be reasonable is what has us miffed. It's FINE you have opinions and it's FINE that you voice them. That's what forums are for after all. But the point is WE KNOW ALREADY. There's a point where you're no longer voicing an opinion (which is to say, making it known) and repeating yourself to the point of aggrevation. In places where serious discussion, with some meat to it, is being performed it is improper to simply blurt out how much MKA sucks. It's like if one of the candidates in a presidential debate suddenly blurt out insults during another candidate's question. It's rude.

I don't know how much more eloquently I can explain this to you as I have done so several times (as has Goraka) and you just keep on taking it the wrong way. Read what we're saying. Listen to the words in your head. Try to understand why you're getting on our nerves and ask yourself if you want to be "that guy". I'm being polite this time.
