actually, i saw an interview with Boon that said they weren't going to put mini games in. he said it was becoming to expected.

Basically from my understanding, a Konquest type mode for each side (MK and DC). The time will primarily be spent on gameplay as a result of massive negative feedback on how incomplete MK:A felt. I hope they get it right.

I dunno what that has to do with minigames...but yea, that's all correct. But it's like MK Ninja9 said, Boon felt people started to expect the minigames, and he wants to do stuff that's completely unlike the previous installments this time. He's going all out to totally revamp the series.

Story mode with 2 different sides to the story with the vs mode should be enough for any fan.

I also think Boon is avoiding minigames so he can't be accused of sacrificing game-play for a cheap gimmick.
